Cannes (Riviera Côte d'Azur) Dance Festival will take place from 27 November to 4 December 2009.
Cannes will become the dance capital for a week, as it hosts a festival entirely devoted to this art form.
The programme comprises a dozen shows representing all styles and trends, as well as master-classes and discussions involving the choreographers attending the festival.
This year, the dancers will pay homage to Rosella Hightower, a star dancer and founder of the Centre International de Danse de Cannes Rosella Hightower in 1961, who died in Cannes on 3 November 2008.
